Stewardship at Aurora Organic Dairy is best reflected in our commitment to environmental and economic sustainability.

Sustainable farming is a commitment to biodiversity, natural resource conservation and understanding your results and impacts. This includes soil health, waste management, water and energy conservation and a full spectrum of initiatives that consider our employees, stakeholders and the communities in which we operate.

Livestock and food production systems use significant natural resources with potentially large environmental impact. We strive to understand our impacts and opportunities for improvement. Because we own our own farms and processing plant, we can study our footprint closely using significant primary data, including measuring our own greenhouse gas emissions, energy use and waste generation.
