Independent Farmer Partners...

There are many independent farmers in our network. They are important members of our extended family who grow certified organic grain, alfalfa hay and corn silage for our animals, produce organic milk to meet our customers’ demands, provide animal husbandry expertise and custom farming services.

By developing a market for its products, Aurora Organic Dairy has created demand for a large quantity of organic crops. This need has sustained crop production on hundreds of acres of organic farmland. These relationships have helped to improve overall feed crop quality, reduce our carbon footprint and support rural communities.

When we work with independent farmers and growers, such as feed and livestock suppliers and organic dairy farms that produce milk on our behalf, we rely on their organic certifications in accordance with USDA National Organic Program requirements and processes.
