The Aurora Organic Dairies focus on the harmony of healthy organic dairy herds in efficient organic milk production. In Aurora's experience, healthy cows who live in favorable conditions, eating excellent diets and cared for by knowledgeable specialists, produce delicious, high-quality and low-cost organic milk.
Our farms represent an accumulation of vast organic and dairy expertise. We have full-time staff in the following areas: Large Animal Vet, Farm Operations, Organic Cow Program, Crop Manager, Herdsman, Milking Operators, Animal Reproduction Specialists, Farm Resource Management, to name just a few
In order to operate successfully, we have people paying attention to every single detail. From the nutritional quality of our organic feed to the conversion of organic acres; from crop rotation cycles to the organic compost program; from Early Sick Cow recognition to Animal Reproduction, our animals, our crops and the earth upon which it all depends are closely managed.
Small groups of managers, who are mentored, trained and empowered to make appropriate decisions work closely together to make our farm operations run smoothly and happily.
Our farms are family-like in their atmosphere and have family-friendly policies. Plant
No other organic dairy can claim the vertical integration and state-of-the-art processing facilities that we have developed at Aurora Organic. With a brand new, completely modern milk processing facility, our milk is packaged often within hours of milking. Our plant managers and quality assurance personnel maintain smooth and efficient operations, with the highest attention to organic integrity, quality and safety.
Sales & Marketing
No business is complete without a sales and marketing team. Our professionals form a close-knit group that is able to respond quickly and creatively to opportunities. With their years of experience in the organic industry, they are well-suited to meet the needs of our ever-expanding customer base -- whether in providing information and education on organic, or helping our customers meet the needs of their consumers with organic offerings.
Finance
It is not a little unusual for an organic company, in its infancy, to have such sound financial vision, guidance and backing. Our finance department understands the importance of maintaining a tight financial ship -- for a company of great vision needs a solid, reliable and methodical financial foundation to achieve success. Additionally, our Finance Department is guided by ethics, humanity and a concern for the long-term environmental and financial sustainability of our business.
Human Resources
Our focus on humanity is no mere lip service. Our founders have instilled a deep commitment to humane and ethical treatment: of our employees, of our customers and business partners and of our animals.
